    FAQ

I am beginning to notice gray hair. What can I do?

This is probably the most commonly asked question today. For those just starting to notice gray hair, we recommend what's called a deposit only hair color. This means that it will not make your hair lighter (it can't lift your natural color). What this process does is blend away your gray by covering your whole head with color. The gray hair will actually take on a highlighted effect from the color. The color fades on tone, which means that it will not be brassy as it fades away. This process leaves the hair in fantastic condition with a great deal of shine and added volume. Generally, this type of hair color lasts 8-10 weeks.

If I foil and color at the same time will I risk damaging my hair?

A lot of today's more popular looks have a multi dimensional effect. This means that you have more than one color in the hair. This is generally done by using more than one color to achieve the end result. We are asked all the time if this process is damaging to the hair. The answer is no. This is due to the fact that today's professional hair color products are very gentle and buffered. They condition as they lift and color the hair. The result is hair that is soft, shiny, and healthy.

Is there any way to mend split ends?

This is probably the biggest misconception in regards to hair care. There is NO WAY possible to mend split ends. The only way to remedy them is to cut them off. There is no product on the market that can repair split ends. If split ends are not removed, the hair will continue to split at the ends and basically will not get any longer.
